Privacy Policy

Sapiens Solution respects the privacy of those who visit our website and use our digital channels. This Policy explains what personal data we collect, for what purpose, how we protect it, and what rights you have as the data subject. It applies regardless of the country from which you access our services; where local data protection law is stricter than this Policy, such local law will prevail.

Sapiens Solution ("we", "the company") is responsible for the processing of personal data collected through its website and digital channels. This Policy applies to users of our website and services, regardless of the country from which they access them.
2. Data We Collect
We collect data you provide directly to us (name, email address, phone number, company, contact messages), technical data generated by your use of the site (IP address, browser type, pages visited, cookies) and, where applicable, data derived from the business relationship with clients, distributors, or represented manufacturers.
3. Purpose of Processing
We use your data to respond to inquiries, manage business proposals, provide technical support, improve the website, and comply with contractual or legal obligations. We do not use your data for any purpose other than the one disclosed, except with your express authorization.
4. Legal Basis and Consent
Processing is carried out in accordance with Costa Rica's Law No. 8968 on the Protection of Individuals with regard to the Processing of their Personal Data and its Regulations, under the supervision of PRODHAB, as well as any equivalent data protection regulations in force in any other country from which the user accesses our services. Where required by law, we will request your prior, express, and informed consent before collecting or using your data.
5. Sensitive Data
We do not request sensitive data (health, ideology, sexual orientation, ethnic origin, among others) through our website. If any specific process were to require it, express and separate authorization will be requested.
6. Cookies and Similar Technologies
Our site may use first-party or third-party cookies for basic functionality, analytics, and browsing preferences. You may configure your browser to reject cookies; some site features may be limited if you do so.
7. Data Sharing and Transfer

You have the right to Access, Rectify, Cancel (delete), and Object to the processing of your personal data, as well as to revoke your consent at any time. To exercise these rights, write to privacidad@sapienssolution.com stating your request; we will respond within the period established by applicable law (for example, five business days under Law No. 8968 in Costa Rica).
11. Minors
Our website is aimed at a business audience and is not designed to collect data from minors. If we discover that we have collected data from a minor without the corresponding authorization, we will proceed to delete it.
12. Supervisory Authority and Complaints
If you believe your rights have not been adequately addressed, you may file a complaint with the Data Protection Agency of the Inhabitants (PRODHAB) in Costa Rica, or with the corresponding data protection authority in your country of residence.
13. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect legal, technical, or operational changes. The current version will always be available on our website, indicating the date of the last update.
